Hyejin Park
Hyejin Park envisions music as a channel for empathy and connection with audiences across the world. As a pianist, she strives to share the composer’s story with sincerity, and personality of each piece through her interpretation based on the composer’s intention.
Ms. Park was awarded first prize winner of Amigdala International Competition in Italy (2021) and second prize winner of ICA International Competition in Vietnam and YMIC competition (2021). Her performance was described as “very sensitive and clear playing.” She has received awards including prizes at national student music competition (Korea), Korea-Russia international cultural exchange association competition, Haneum piano competition. She had recitals at Lee-Won cultural center, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Chamberhall and Konzertsaal in Aachen. And she performed at the Colburn school showcase of Third@First. She worked with Ms. Walther at Chamber music society concert in Zipper hall. She performed with singers Opera ‘Pelleas et Melisande‘ with Maestro James Conlon. She participated in Debussy project at Zipper hall and also she participated in music fest Perugia in Seoul and had an honor student recital. She performed with the national symphony orchestra of teleradio-Moldova(2016), Vienna CMS chamber orchestra(2016), Romania Oltenia Philharmonic orchestra and Banatul Timisoara orchestra(2014). She earned Bachelor degree at Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul (South Korea), where she studied with Hyesoo Jeon and with Ilja Scheps for Master degree at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne (Germany). She earned a Professional studies certificate degree at the Colburn Conservatory of Music(United States), where she studies with Fabio Bidini. Ms. Park will continue studying with Fabio Bidini from August, 2023, as an Artist Diploma candidate at the Colburn Conservatory of Music (United States).
